These eco-friendly, non-medical face masks are made of 100% pure flax linen, which is one of the only natural skin-friendly fibers. Flax linen also requires few, if any, chemical pesticides and fertilizers during cultivation, which makes it great for the environment and your skin.
Each spring-inspired mask reads Shayna Punim (Beautiful Face) embroidered on the lower right in various colors.
The masks are soft, washable and breathable, but most importantly - safe. There are two layers of flax linen and a two layer built-in filter, totaling 4 layers of protection. Additionally, the ear loops are soft and flexible for a solid but gentle fit.
Buy Me Back
Our hope is that in a few months you won’t need this mask anymore. So, pending CDC guidance on safety and timing, we’ll be implementing a buyback program to safely reuse this flax linen for future products, and divert them from landfill. Our collective usage of masks has caused significant harm to the environment, and we hope this program, along with the eco-friendly material, will help us to become part of the solution rather than the problem.
The full details are not yet finalized, but the program will likely allow you to send your mask back (you will pay for shipping) for a portion of what you paid. You will then receive a discount on any of our products that use material from the upcycled masks.
Aside from this program, these masks cannot be returned or exchanged.
If you're purchasing this product for someone as a gift, please write "gift" in the order notes.

We’re a sustainable, genderless clothing brand that celebrates collective values, ancestries and cultures, while simultaneously celebrating our unique, individual selves - both holding enormous importance in our lives.
In that sense, bubuleh is about escape and belonging all at once. We’re the halfway point between that feeling of warmth and security that comes with being around close friends and family in your comfort zone, and that risk and excitement that comes when you step out of that comfort zone.
We strive to create plotz-worthy fashion by putting older practices, ideas and aesthetics into conversation with newer ones. Though we derive our inspiration from Jewish heritage, culture, and Yiddish, we intentionally craft our clothing for everyone to wear.
